The flow

Where pollen went this hour.Rows send, columns receive, in % of the sender's supply.

A bee that holds A and buys B carries pollen from A to B. This plate adds up every grain of the hour, flower by flower.

Each grain weighs what the bee holds of A, up to 1 %, so one whale cannot carry the field. A pair (bee, A → B) counts once per hour.

Arrow keys move between cells. A cell is pAB: the summed weight of the grains its bees carried, in % of A's supply. Column totals add percentages of different flowers: they show who sent pollen, not a value.

The grains · Fig. 3

Grains this hour: all counted, the rest refused

Every buy is checked against every flower the bee came from. A pair that fails one condition is refused, and the reason is kept. When in doubt, the grain is refused.

Counts of candidate pairs (bee, A → B) in the demo epoch. Most are bees that did not hold A long enough or enough of it: that is the rule doing its job.

Fruit and bloom of the day

A flower pollinated by 10 different flowers in one day bears a fruit.

Fruits and badges carry no money: they mark what the bees did.

What this plate is, and is not

These flows come from the real engine run on a demonstration meadow. On a real epoch, an independent witness recomputes the same matrix from the chain. Pollen is a record of what bees did: it moves no money.
